From the Principal

Dear Springfield Families & Friends,
February is a busy month for our students and staff! This month we celebrate Black History Month, our Springfield Addition's GRAND OPENING, our 100th Day of School, Family STEM Night, and more. Be sure to stay tuned to Seesaw for more information about all of our exciting activities and events.
Our focus at Springfield School remains to cultivate a positive climate and create the best learning environment possible. We encourage students and staff to be productive members of OUR COMMUNITY by adhering to the following three expectations:
1. Make Safe & Responsible Choices 2. Be Respectful & Kind 3. Do Your Best
Quality instruction and student learning are our highest priorities. Everything that we do is designed to help students learn in all areas and be successful well beyond their time as a Charger. We have seen encouraging growth in our recent Winter Assessment data, and we are excited about students being better able to more accurately demonstrate what they know/have learned.
The partnership between school and home is a key ingredient for this success. With that being said, please mark your calendars for our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences, which are being held on Monday, February 10th from 11am - 6 pm. Log onto the Skyward Parent Portal now to sign up for a time slot. (Conferences will take place in person, unless a virtual option is requested.) If you need assistance in securing a meeting time, please do not hesitate to contact our Main Office at (708) 388-4121.
We hope to see you then!
Mrs. Brown
