Dear Springfield Families & Friends,

We are already at the one month mark of the school year.

It has been a pleasure to get to meet so many families and welcome our students back to the hallways of Springfield School. We have many new friends joining us this year, both in our kindergarten classes, as well as across our higher grade levels. Each is bringing unique stories, perspectives, and character to our community.

Parent Teacher conferences will be held on October 9 and 10. Please check your Seesaw for directions on how to sign up for conferences.

At this point in the year, we are now in full swing. We are having consistent conversations with students regarding achievement (academics), attitude (behavior), and attendance. We encourage families to include these components in your conversations with your students as we aim to increase both the school-home connection and overall sense of community here in MSD143.

As always, thank you for your continued support of the students and staff of Springfield School. We appreciate the understanding, patience, and flexibility that our school community displayed during the construction process!

Best wishes for a comfortable, relaxing, and familial fall... GO CHARGERS!

Colin Nolan, Principal (708) 388-4121, Ext. 5110
